[BYTubeD] Latest version (1.0.5) publicly available

The latest version (1.0.5) is now publicly available from the mozila addons site. The new version includes a fix for the well-known problem: "Embedding disabled by request. Watch on YouTube" and other similar things. Please see this post for the list of changes.

Great Addon! Stumbled over it yesterday and used it quite a bit...not sure my provider likes it....

Two feature requests - I expect them to be quite easy to implement - I hope:
1. Support YouTube URL shortener http://youtu.be/ Seems this links are not caught.
2. Add a third option in the 'What to do?' selection box to similar to the 'Generate links' option to generate links to the actual YouTube html URL not the video file referenced in the html. This feature is very useful in order to extract YT links from large website in order to generate list of links with the titles. I would use this to extract YT links out of FaceBook pages where I am a member of several specialized music groups....The benefit would be that these links are permanent and don't expire in contrast to the videofiles....

Thanks for the the points you raised. At this point of time, I can say I will be able to implement the second feature but I am not sure of the first one now. I need to look at it more before I can say anything on that.

If I don't overlook something all that is necessary for the URL shortener issue is to transform links of the form http://youtu.be/qNxOuquQfzk to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qNxOuquQfzk. At least this worked on a few examples I looked at.
